St. Catharines Museum Interpretive Plan

The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre is calling out to the community for feedback about it’s draft interpretive plan.

Update: At its Sept. 9 meeting, St. Catharines City Council approved the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre interpretive plan. Costs associated with the plan have been referred to the Budget Standing Committee for consideration.

The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre is working on a new interpretive plan to enhance how we share our materials and cultural history with the community.

The interpretive plan is an important part of how we maintain and develop all aspects of the visitor experience at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre. The interpretive plan will organize the way the material and cultural history the St. Catharines Museum Welland Canals Centre interprets is shared with the public. It will also include plans and suggestions for uses of space in and around the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre as well as interpretive themes and messages to focus narratives for visitors.
