    Canada Day in Russell, Ontario

    by Josy, 3 days ago
Everyone knows where I live, why you may ask?????

I have well over 150 Canada flags on my property.

the best and the biggest one was a present from my husband on my birthday which is July 1st of course.

I just wish I was able to post a picture of the house with all the flags including all provinces and territories.

    Colonization Awareness Day

    by Onceuponalakeside, 5 days ago

We will be spending July 1st hanging out around our homemade residential school memorial (or elsewhere in Port Dalhousie) chatting about Indigenous issues with pedestrians. We're right by Rozie's cafe so grab an ice cream and come chat! (By no means am I an expert, just a Settler looking to hold space for important conversations).

Fully Vax, sharing my indigenous history

    by MenOfTheDen, 6 days ago
I plan on spending Canada Day sharing my First Nation's heritage with my husband (who is American). We want to go check out various sites now that we're both fully vaccinated and can do so safely.

Hoping the Iroquois village and longhouses are open and available to tour as this will be our first opportunity to see them together since we got married in 2018.

    Summer breeze

    by Yongjinyi, 6 days ago

Our family have a backyard that is barren. We would like to flourish by planting vegetation. Last summer was tough due to the virus but this summer we will enjoy our backyard with our extended families. We are looking forward to supporting city's goal!
