Governance Review Questionnaire

Update: Community consultation has been completed - thank you for your input. A report from the task force has been received by City Council, who is now sending comment to the province.

The Governance Review Task Force, made up of City Councillors, is working on a report for City Council regarding the Province of Ontario's review of regional government and wants to hear the thoughts and concerns from members of the community.

The province is currently seeking local input on how to improve governance, decision-making and service delivery for regional governments and member municipalities, including the Niagara Region. The Governance Review Task Force encourages everyone to share their feedback with the province.

The public is invited to discuss the province's review of regional government in Niagara with the local Governance Review Task Force at a public meeting:

  • Tuesday, April 30
    6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
    City Hall (50 Church St.)
    Council Chambers (3rd Floor)

The local Governance Review Task Force will use the input it collects to inform its position and recommendations for its report back to City Council.
