In recent years City staff have been working with residents and Ward Councillors to alleviate concerns over traffic speed on Downing Street between South Drive and Glenridge Avenue. An opportunity has been identified to install two permanent speed cushions (speed bumps) on Downing Street, coinciding with Niagara Region road resurfacing as part of its trunk watermain replacement project.
